Solitude's
overnight accommodations, a ski school with a snowpark
for children and snow making capabilities will ensure
excellent skiing all season. A perennial favorite
of Utah skiers, Solitude is known as a friendly, family
oriented resort offering some of the country's best
skiing. Solitude's ski terrain offers more than 1,200
acres, 63 named runs and 3 bowls, plus 400 acres of
off-site skiing in pristine Honeycomb Canyon. |
Location:
Solitude is just a short 33 miles from the Salt Lake City
International Airport. To get here from downtown or the
airport, take I-80 East to I-215 South. Take Exit 6 and
follow the signs to Solitude. If you're coming from Park
City, join I-80 heading West and connect to I-215 South
to Exit 6 and follow the signs from there.

Lifts:
7 lifts - 1 high speed quad, 2 triple and 4 double chair
lifts. Total uphill lift capacity is 11,200 skiers per
hour.

Runs:
More
than 1,200 acres, 63 named runs and three bowls, plus
400 acres of off-piste skiing in Pristine Honeycomb Canyon.
Solitude's trails are rated 20% Beginner, 50% Intermediate
and 30% Advanced.
Ski
Rentals and Shops: Solitude has two full service
rental shops that offer ski and snowboard gear, as well
as special children's packages. Retail shops are also
located around the mountain.
Solitude's
Nordic Center: Solitude's cross-country ski
area has over 20 kilometers of spectacular trails to explore.
The Center offers ski accessories, ski rentals, lessons,
light snacks and guided back country tours.
Slopeside
Lodging: The village at Solitude offers luxurious
slopeside accommodations and amenities.
Restaurants:
Solitude now has six restaurants
located throughout the resort.
Moonbeam
Ski & Snowboard Academy for Kids:
Kids ages 4 through 12 can learn ski and snowboard skills
while participating in the Moonbeam Academy.
