
Overview.
Lagoon is an amusement
park with a variety
of rides from rollar
coasters and thrill
rides to fun houses
and bumper cars.
The park is located
within the city
limits of Farmington
in Davis County,
about eighteen miles
north of Salt Lake
City. The park was
built in 1896 on
40 acres of land,
and has since grown
to more than 150
acres.

Play in the lazy
river, soak in the
hot tubs, or experience
the thrill of river
rapids in this six
acre water park.
Volleyball courts,
food booths, water
slides, and tropical
lagoons are also
a part of Lagoon
A Beach.
Pioneer
Village
is a reconstruction
of a community in
the late 1800s.
The village contains
one of the most
extensive collections
of artifacts in
the country, with
guns, slingshots,
crossbows, and cannons.
A
Rock Chapel, originally
built in Coalville,
Utah in 1853 stands
at the front of
Pioneer Village.
The building was
used as a fort,
then later became
a courthouse, schoolhouse,
and a church.
