Utah Travel Center Entertainment Theme Parks • Lagoon

Overview. Lagoon is an amusement park with a variety of rides from rollar coasters and thrill rides to fun houses and bumper cars. The park is located within the city limits of Farmington in Davis County, about eighteen miles north of Salt Lake City. The park was built in 1896 on 40 acres of land, and has since grown to more than 150 acres.

Lagoon A Beach. Play in the lazy river, soak in the hot tubs, or experience the thrill of river rapids in this six acre water park. Volleyball courts, food booths, water slides, and tropical lagoons are also a part of Lagoon A Beach.

Pioneer Village is a reconstruction of a community in the late 1800s. The village contains one of the most extensive collections of artifacts in the country, with guns, slingshots, crossbows, and cannons.

A Rock Chapel, originally built in Coalville, Utah in 1853 stands at the front of Pioneer Village. The building was used as a fort, then later became a courthouse, schoolhouse, and a church.
