Visitor
Centers are the information hubs of Yellowstone
National Park and are conveniently located near most
lodging complexes. You can purchase books, maps and
other information, and obtain current information about
park attractions and interpretive programs offered in
each of the park's "countries."
Albright
Visitor Center
Informative displays will teach you about the park's
human and natural history. "The Challenge of Yellowstone"
is an informative film shown throughout each day, as
well as other videos shown free of charge. Albright
Visitor Center, open year-round, is located in the historic
Bachelor Office Quarters at Mammoth Hot Springs. Phone:

Old
Faithful Visitor Center
Learn all about geysers and predicting their eruptions.
Watch an informative film called "Yellowstone:
A Living Sculpture" showing through each day. Located
near the famous geyser, the center is open during summer
and winter seasons. Phone: 307-344-7381.
Canyon
Visitor Center
Learn all about the bison at Canyon Center, located
near the center of the park at the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.

Grant
Village Visitor Center
Learn about the story of the 1988 Yellowstone fires.
Learn about forest regeneration, a natural process occurring
every 250 to 400 years. Watch an informative film called
"Yellowstone, the Unfinished Song" shown throughout
each day. The center is located on the west shore of
Yellowstone Lake, open early June through September.

Fishing
Bridge Visitor Center
Built from 1929 to 1930, this National Historic Landmark
houses exhibits about Yellowstone's flora, fauna and
geology. Learn all about the survival tactics of many
of Yellowstone's creatures. Located at the north end
of Yellowstone Lake, the center is open from early June
