UTC Points of Interest Geography • Red Canyon

Red Canyon (Garfield County) ends two and one-half miles east of the U-12 and US-89 junction. The head is several miles east, past the Sunset Cliffs, on the top of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. The brilliant brown, red, pink, and orange-tinted canyon walls provided the name. U-12 passes through the canyon up into Bryce Canyon National Park.
