Jordan River State Park
Whether you’re a canoeist, jogger, golfer or picnicker, Jordan River State Park has something for you. The park is located between North Temple and 2200 North in Salt Lake City. It extends 4.8 miles along the Jordan River.
Park activities include canoe and float opportunities with various put-in and takeout points; rest rooms, picnic tables and group-use pavilions at Cottonwood Park; 1.25 mile jogging/exercise course; walking and bicycle trail; model airplane facility; nine-hole, par-three golf course; and off-highway vehicle riding area.

The park also includes picnicking, a group pavilion, drinking water and modern rest rooms.

Permits and Passes. Entrance fees are not charged at Jordan River State Park except for the Modelport. The Single Park Permit is $40 and allows the cardholder and up to seven guests in the same private vehicle day-use entrance into the Jordan River State Park Modelport. The permit is valid for the current calendar year. The Five-Day Pass is $15 and allows day-use entrance to most Utah state parks for five consecutive days.
